On April 8, 2011, Novruz event was organized at the Korean Higher Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Dajeon, Korea.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani students studying at KAIST. The event was organized by the KUAT student organization, co-founded by students from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan studying at KAIST. Necessary support was also provided for the event by the BUTA AKSO. The event consisted of two parts. In the first part, representatives of the participating countries demonstrated the national music and culture of their countries. Javid Aliyev and Adika Mammadrahamli, who study at KAIST, won the hearts of everyone with their beautiful performances. In the second part of the event, samples of national cuisine of each country were presented to the guests.
It should be noted that KAIST University is included in the list of the world's top 100 universities, and in 2011 26 Azerbaijani students studied at KAIST.
