Football championships between different countries living in Korea are regularly held every year. BUTA Azerbaijan-Korea Student Organization has initiated the establishment of BUTA Azerbaijan Football Team consisting of Azerbaijani students, taking into account the presence of a football team of other countries, as well as the positive impact on cooperation with local and foreign student organizations and other public organizations. Football uniforms with the logo of the BUTA Azerbaijan Football Team and the Azerbaijani flag were made, and on September 4, 2010, the team started to represent Azerbaijan in the tournaments.
